The negatives for these never-before-seen photographs of legendary musicians were discovered this past year. 

 

Friedman was an avid photographer when he worked in the music business in the 60’s and 70’s as a manager and producer.   He had the opportunity to work with, and photograph, legendary musical artists including:

Janis Joplin, The Band, Kris Kristofferson, Rita Coolidge, Paul Butterfield Blues Band,

James Cotton, Todd Rundgren & the Rolling Stones.

A collection of 60 photographs are currently on exhibit at the California Heritage Museum in Santa Monica, California.   

 

The Exhibit will travel to The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame early next year.
